Exploring sustainability as a thread that weaves together a community, The fabric of a Communtiy could be tied to a concrete geography or fastened to a virtual heartland of shared values. Through the exploration of visual metaphors contributed by the panelists, audience and panel alike will engage in a dialogue aiming to arrive at a new understanding of the space we share.
The location of this roundtable in Williamsburg provides an intriguing starting point for a discussion of the meaning of "sustainability" and it's power to define "community:" considering Williamsburg “toxic” past in light of efforts toward a green future.
