Jim Davis, our Florida Yards & Neighborhoods Extension Agent, will be your tour guide through the pine flatwoods. You’ll walk the gently looping trail where the Seminoles ambushed Major Dade and his soldiers. Come join us for an interesting education on wildlife, trees, various plants, wildflowers and even insects at this historical park. Those of you who are acquainted with Jim know that this will not only be educational but a lot of fun. Wear some comfortable shoes and bring your camera!
Please come out and join us for this event and visit this historic jewel in Sumter County.The park is located off SR476 at 7200 CR603, Bushnell. We'll meet at the Lodge right in front of the Gazebo.
