Is your landscaping for the birds?
It should be!
Our presentation this month will be about planting your landscape to attract birds, whether it is for food or for nesting areas. And don't think you need acres of land to do it; you can landscape for birds if you just have a balcony or a small villa or a large homestead. We'll go over the best Florida-Friendly plants to attract birds and we'll talk about the birds in Central Florida. Your speakers will be Master Gardeners Tina Ahearn and Susan League. We have a special surprise planned for all of you Evening Gardener attendees this month so I hope you can be with us!
The last Evening Gardener event in 2013 will be on November 19th at 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Sumter County Ag Center in Bushnell (Sumter Fairgrounds). If you prefer to register offline or need more information call 352-793-2728, Ext. 229 or email email@example.com and leave your name, phone number and number of tickets requested.
