Dear Listening Session Participant:
The St. Lucie County Extension Office is in the process of developing a long range plan to guide educational programs for the next decade. We seek to take a fresh look at all challenges and issues facing the people of St. Lucie County. Because of your understanding of some of the challenges and issues that impact your community and county, we solicit your advice and input as a community leader.
We invite you to join other community leaders in a County listening session to be held on April 15th at the UF/IFAS St. Lucie County Hurricane House beginning at 9am until noon. We also invite you to invite someone not familiar with Extension and send them this link. We anticipate that the discussion will take approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours. We value your thoughts and views and will follow up with a phone call to answer any questions you might have. We hope your schedule permits you to be with us for this important discussion.
Some of the points we will be discussing include the strengths, values, and trends of our community, along with trends and issues that may be threatening or detrimental to our area. Once these points are identified, discussion will turn to how St. Lucie County Extension can address these topics with educational programming.
Your input in this process is extremely important to us. We cannot identify important issues without your assistance. We hope you can join us and we look forward to you being with us on April 15th beginning at 9am.
