This will be UCSF Infusion’s Second Happy Hour and First Fundraiser of 2012!
We will be holding a competition to see who can raise the most money. For $10 you will be given a die-cut teddy bear with your name on it and for every additional $5 donate you will get a heart sticker to put on your bear. The top two people with the most heart stickers at the end of the night will win a prize (One person will win a signed Pat Burrell Mug).
The teddy bear idea was inspired by a UCSF PIC grant that provided both children & adults with a bear as a source of comfort in a time of need.
You can fundraise in advance or on-site. We hope this friendly competition will help everyone network and meet new people while also raising funds for a good cause.
When & Where
UCSF Partners in Care
Formerly UCSF Medical Center Auxiliary, UCSF Partners in Care, is a nonprofit organization that raises money and funds special programs and services that provide comfort and well-being to patients and their families during their stay and treatment at UCSF Medical Center and Benioff Children’s Hospital. Funds are raised through membership fees, special events, vehicle donations, and individual donors. Medical Center doctors, nurses and hospital staff work with us to identify special services and programs that complement the excellent health care for which UCSF is renowned. Last year our efforts touched the lives of more than 27,000 patients and family members.
