Join Tataviam's Education and Cultural Learning Department as we attend

UCLA's American Indian Youth Conference

Saturday - March 22, 2014

Times: Appx. 9am-5pm.

*youth based workshops, campus tours, lunch with entertainment, meet other native youth, & more*

INVITED:

American Indian youth in 8-12th grade and community college students.

Transportation is available from Palmdale, SFV or Commerce, if you are registered in advance.

 

TO ATTEND:

1) RSVP through Evenbrite or speak with ECLD staff to help you register

2) Download the APPLICATION http://us1.campaign-archive2.com/?u=f489c2d3c21fc524acaca689b&id=744a264b3d&e=f9e888c169 and fax/email the signed release (form is REQUIRED for everyone)

3) Be enrolled in the TAMIT program or contact tamit@tataviam-nsn.us for an application.

Fernandeño Tataviam: Education and Cultural Learning Department

The Education & Cultural Learning Department house vital programs for the Fernandeno Tataviam Band of Mission Indians  including Teaching and Mentoring Indian Tarahat project - TAMIT - to serve 9th-12th grade American Indian students and the Tataviam American Indian Education Center which will provide K-12 services

Embracing the concept of acting as stewards for the people who call our homelands their home, our programs serve both Tataviam and urban Indian youth.
