San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
On behalf of the Entrepreneur Association (EA), The Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, the High Tech Business Association (HTBA) and the Easton Center for Technology Leadership, we are pleased to announce this year's EA Conference themed "The Evolving Entrepreneur" on Friday, May 9, 2014. Now in its 28th year, this conference is UCLA Anderson's largest and highest-profile student-organized event. We welcome an audience of more than 500 students, alumni, faculty, entrepreneurs and professionals to share valuable insights on current topics in entrepreneurship, critical business skills, and emerging opportunities.
The event includes ample opportunity to network with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, developers, and UCLA Anderson faculty and students. A series of panels and case studies will highlight entrepreneurship in various fields. The Fast Pitch competition, a perennial favorite, offers individuals a chance to pitch new business ideas to a panel of distinguished investment professionals and entrepreneurs.
This year is already shaping up to be one of our most exciting events yet. The keynote speakers for the event will be:
- Opening - a fireside chat with Sean Rad, founder and CEO of Tinder
- Closing - Mohanjit Jolly, Partner and Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson
In addition, EA will be bringing together nine exciting panels, covering a diverse range of current topics, a fast-pitch competition, case study and more!
