The Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference is in Boston next week.
MAPH is sending ten of its current crop of creative writers to attend the festivities, and we're welcoming alumni from across the University of Chicago community to a reception and reading at Sonsie Wine. Poets and alums Greg Lawless and Shaindel Beers will be reading from their new poems. Steven Flores will read from his novel-in-progress. Come meet current students and alums.
Regardless of whether you're attending the conference from out of town or just live in Boston--and whether you're an alum of MAPH, the College, or any other program at UChicago--we'd love it if you could join for an evening of literary and oenephilic pursuits.

See you in Boston!
The Master of Arts Program in the Humanities is an intensive one-year terminal course of study in the Humanities at the University of Chicago.
The Committee on Creative Writing at UChicago gives students a rigorous background in the fundamentals of creative work; but moreover is an integral part of the university’s intellectual life--most particularly in providing opportunities for interdisciplinary work.
