What is the PPE Distribution Event?
The PPE Distribution Event is a one-time opportunity for each campus to distribute appropriate PPE (lab coats and protective eyewear) to all lab staff. Those who do not attend this event will need to follow the campus protocol to fit test at a designated area at a future date and order the required PPE.
What will I get?
Based upon the results of the hazard assessment for their lab, most workers will receive two lab coats and two sets of protective eyewear.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email us at email@example.com.
Can I change my registration date/time?
If you need to change your time for any reason, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your original event date/time to delete your initial reservation. Then you will be able to go back in and sign up for a new event time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, you will need to print your Eventbrite order confirmation and bring it with you to the event.
The name on the registration doesn't match the voucher/attendee. Is that okay?
Proxies will not be allowed at the event. Photo ID will be checked, and the attendee should match the name printed on the voucher.
The University of California, in an effort to comply with the new Personal Protective Equipment policy signed by outgoing President Yudof earlier this year, purchased the proper PPE for every lab worker in its system. The PPE Distribution Events at each campus have been created to get the equipment disbursed to all who need it before the March 31, 2014 policy enforcement date.
