TYPO San Francisco returns Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), April 10-11, 2014 with the theme Rhythm. FontShop is proud to bring back one of Europe’s premier design events to the Bay Area.

We’re excited to announce today the theme for TYPO San Francisco 2014, presented by FontShop.
This year’s theme, “Rhythm,” explores the cadence of the creative process, the underlying tempo of inspiration, and the beats of the design experience.
Registration will open November 2013. A limited early bird phase with discounted tickets, priced at $400, will run through January 15, 2014. Regularly priced tickets ($500) will be available January 16 through February 28, 2014, with late registration ($600) beginning March 1 up until the conference.
A limited number of student tickets (see requirements below) will also be available at a reduced rate of $200 thanks to a generous sponsorship by Adobe Typekit.
Ticketing fees for regular and late tickets are waive thanks to a sponsorship by Eventbrite (credit card fees still apply).
New this year! A limited number of faculty tickets will be available for those teaching two or more courses at accredited academic institution. They will cost $300 in Early Bird in $350 after January 15.
Included in Conference Fee
Your conference fee provides admission to the conference (two days) to all sessions and admission to the concluding event on Friday evening. The program is subject to change without notice. The organizers are not liable for refunds in the event of any unforseen program changes. Errors reserved. The conference is held in English. No translation services are available.
Terms & Conditions
A limited number of tickets are sold in all of the advance sale phases. Once advance sale phase is sold out, you may buy a ticket in the following registration phase, or join the waiting list in case of cancelations.
A participant, who is unable to attend the conference, may name a substitute in writing. Student tickets may be used by student substitutes, professional tickets, by professional substitutes. If changing a participant, please contact email@example.com.
Please bring a printed or mobile copy of this confirmation for registration at the conference. You will receive your conference tickets at our on-site registration desk.
Student Tickets sponsored by Adobe Typekit
For student attendees, please also bring along a valid proof of enrollment and a copy of your student identification to the venue. The registration team will email purchasers to verify that all students are enrolled in valid education programs as of April 10, 2014.
For faculty admissions, please also bring along a valid employment and a copy of your faculty identification to the venue. The registration team will email your institution to verify that you're teaching at least two courses as of April 10, 2014 to qualify for the reduced rate.
Full cancelation of reservations is possible in writing and free of charge until Februrary 28, 2014. Cancelations after February 28, 2014 (until March 15, 2014) will cost an administrative fee of $100. There will be no reimbursement after March 15, 2014. If any case of cancelation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Absence from the conference does not entitle to reimbursement of the admission fee. Canceled tickets will be resold immediately.
