The bootcamp, which will run all day Saturday, March 29, will include sessions on:
- establishing, running and promoting your business
- professionalism and blogging/social media as a flourishing, growing industry
- how to make a solid, reliable income in blogging and social media
- working with firms, agencies and brands.
The sessions will be followed by an afternoon Brand to Blogger Meet & Greet at sponsors' vendor tables. The event will end with the evening closing reception.
Type-A Parent Conference, in its sixth year, is the world’s top conference for mom and dad bloggers. The conference has a well-established reputation for outstanding learning with actionable takeaways. It features power networking with the best and brightest parents who blog plus the major brands and firms who want to engage them. Type-A is where the power parents grow their business and connect.
If you are attending as a representative of a business, brand or firm, you must register for the business pass. This is being done to be fair to the official sponsors to reduce the amount they subsidize non-blogging attendees.
For the family of attendees:
We will offer an advanced Kid Con during Type-A Bootcamps this year! We will announce details later, but this will include all the great high-quality childcare we have always offered at our conferences for attendees' children as well as teaching children tech-related topics like computers, blogging and photography (based on age-appropriate activities). It will be Saturday, the day of the conference.
We also have a spouse/significant other pass. This light pass will allow your spouse or significant other in the same household to attend the evening party only and (for speakers) your own session where you are presenting. Any spouse or significant other who wishes to attend everything should purchase a full pass.
Planning and Extending Your Stay:
The conference has a special, dramatically reduced rate at Boardwalk Inn of $229/night (you can get this rate up to three days before March 28 and three days after March 29, based on availability) as well as specially reduced-price park tickets that start as low as $59. Once you register, you will receive instructions on booking your room (we recommend doing it IMMEDIATELY) and buying your park tickets. We insist that registered attendees show up for all sessions and functions to keep your special conference hotel and ticket rates, which are only available to attendees. No-shows will have their pricing revert to public rates or their reservations and tickets canceled (no refunds of deposits or payments).
Please note: tickets cannot be refunded and they cannot be sold/transfered. You may request to hold your pass until a later bootcamp in the next 12 months for a $50 fee if you have to cancel attending no later than April 28, 2014.
