UPDATE:
We’re delighted to announce that Early Mountain Vineyards, home of the Best of Virginia Wines, has donated a gift certificate good for one night's stay in the EMV cottage complete with a meal, flight tasting and vineyard tour. All Twineup attendees will be automatically entered to win(e.) Good luck!

What’s a DC Wine Week without an official Twineup?! If you’re a member of the DC Social Media group on Facebook you’re no stranger to social media gatherings hosted by our co-founder Lisa Byrne. In honor of wine week we’d love our fans, friends and followers to join us offline at Veritas Wine Bar on Thursday, October 17th from 6-8 PM.

Your $10 ticket includes your first drink of choice and entry to win a very generous prize from our friends at Fun+Art+Wine: 2 Studio Workshop Reservations for 2 (valued at $170 each). These fun studio painting workshops allow you to explore your creative side, paired with the perfect wine.

Plan to join in on the fun? Tweet about it to @VeritasWineBar with #dcwineweek and share this post!

As space is limited at Veritas we encourage you to grab your ticket now! DC Wine Week Twine Up at Veritas

DC Wine Week

Stemmed from a passion for good wine and great conversation, founders Lisa Byrne and Vanessa French mind-stormed the concept on a cocktail napkin—over wine, naturally. This week long celebration will be dedicated to enjoying wine, wine education and an opportunity to help support the area’s growing local wineries, wine shops, wine bars, restaurants and merchants.

Expect hosted themed events throughout the week, paired menus and special offers from participating bars and restaurants. As well as a chance to network with local wine experts, attend tastings and learn more about what our area has to offer when it comes to wine.

A fun and exciting way to explore local neighborhoods while enjoying what Ernest Hemingway calls “the most sophisticated thing in the world.”
