Support The Salvation Army @SalArmySTL in their mission of Doing the Most Good at our 2nd annual
#TweetTheMostGood Tweet Up!
Tuesday, May 21st
6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Come out after work to network and unwind, and to learn more about how you can do good with your limited time.
Don Hutcheson, Regional Vice President for Panera Bread (@PaneraBread) will be the keynote speaker for the Tweet Up, discussing an interesting new social experiement in St. Louis, the Meal of Shared Responsibility. The meal, a turkey chili recently introduced to St. Louis-area bakery-cafes, is a "pay what you can" option for the 1 in 6 St. Louisans who don't know where their next meal is coming from, and for those looking to help fight local food insecurity in their community.
The Meal of Shared Responsibility is a Turkey Chili in a Sourdough Bread Bowl that has no set price and provides a delicious, wholesome entrée, with dignity, to anyone – regardless of their means. There are three payment options: customers may pay the suggested amount; if they have the means, they can pay more to help cover the cost of the meal for someone who can’t afford to pay; or, if they are in need, they may pay what they can.
Join us for free appetizers, served until 7:00 p.m
Tickets are $5, which will be donated in full to the Salvation Army of Saint Louis.
