Join the OpenEd Jam team for Turtle Art Day!
Turtle Art is a graphical programming language designed to allow kids to explore geometry and programming by creating art. For more information on Turtle Art, visit turtleart.org
Open to kids ages 8 - 12. Parents, guardians, teachers welcome :)
No previous programming experience required.
When reserving a ticket, please only reserve a ticket for each kid.
Drop off time is 8am, pick up time is 1pm. Snacks will be provided.

Turtle Art Day will be facilitated by none other than Walter Bender, the maintainer of Turtle Art, founder of Sugar Labs and former director of the MIT Media Lab.

OpenEdJam is a 3-day international event that brings together activists, developers, educators, engineers, librarians, and makers from all fields. We will provide a hands-on environment where participants can collaborate on innovative creations and uses of free and open education resources.
