The University of Pittsburgh makes Turnitin’s OriginalityCheck, GradeMark, and PeerMark available to Pitt faculty, and these tools are now fully integrated with Blackboard. Use OriginalityCheck to review student work for plagiarism, GradeMark to provide written and verbal comments on student work, and PeerMark to allow students to provide peer feedback.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- Interpret Turnitin’s originality report;
- Use GradeMark to make written and verbal annotations to student work;
- Enable PeerMark so students can peer review each other’s work;
- Create and manage a Turnitin Direct Assignment in Blackboard
Please note that after registration, you will recieve a confimration email containing a link to an anonymous pre-workshop survey, which helps us tailor each workshop to the needs and skill-levels of the attendees. Please look for the link when you get your confirmation.
