Hanko Ryu Martial Arts Trumbull: Karate, Kickboxing, Kobudo (Weapons)
Hanko Ryu Martial arts offers classes in traditional Japanese Shito Ryu karate-do, Kickboxing and Okinawan Matayoshi Kobudo (weapons) for men, women and children.
We are in Trumbull Center, (Starbucks, CVS, "O"Bar and Grill) at 2 Daniels Farm Road (the Webster Bank Building) above Giove's pizza.
Owned and operated by 6th Dan black belt Kyoshi Danilo Torri, the dojo instills four principles in students as young as three into adulthood: honor, respect, courage and service. Kyoshi Torri started training at the age of seven in Rome, Italy. He is a full time instructor who works individually with every student.

We have had students begin their traiining well into their 50s. Kyoshi also teaches students with special needs, including Down Syndrome, autism and Asperger's through private lessons.
Our kickboxing classes are bootcamp style. Fast paced, with cardio, interval training, plyometrics, floor work, ball work, and karate-style punching and kicking on the bags, on focus pads and with other students and/or Kyoshi. All fitness levels are welcome.
