The 8th annual Tritonman is hosted by the UC San Diego Triathlon Team at the site of history’s first modern triathlon. Way back in 1974, the San Diego Track Club put on the Mission Bay Triathlon (consisting of a run-bike-swim-run) on Fiesta Island. UCSD is proud to continue that legacy today with the Tritonman: a 750m open-water swim, 20K bike, and 5K run.
After the success of last year's new draft-legal option, we will once again be hosting a weekend full of racing! For the draft-legal race on Saturday, February 22nd, we're opening a select number of spots for both open and WCCTC racers. Tritonman Classic will take place the next morning on February 23rd.
Registration fees will go up on February 1st and will close Friday, February 21, at 7:00AM. There will be race day registration available for a flat fee of $100 per athlete, $200 for a relay team. We only accept check or credit card for race day registration.
