When & Where
Trish's Angels received 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 2013. Our mission is to provide financial resources to individuals diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) to improve their quality of life as they deal with this debilitating disease.
ALS is better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. While it is one of the most debilitating diseases, it is not as prominent as some others which is why raising funds for ALS is so challenging. Lou Gehrig passed away over 70 years ago, and the medical community is still not close to a cure. Patients with ALS lose the use of their muscles which renders them totally reliant on family and friends to perform the most basic functions. While the patient loses control and use of muscles, this disease does not affect the mind.
