Mike has recorded and performed with Bobby McFerrin,Bo Diddley, Ella Fitzgerald, Nelson Riddle, Freddie Hubbard, Henry Mancini, The Boston Pops, John Patitucci, Wynton Marsalis, Don Menza, Bob Sheppard, Burt Bacharach, Natalie Cole, Billy Vera and the Beaters and many others.
John Van Tongeren
John is an accomplished film and TV composer whose credits include -The Outer Limits, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Armageddon, Miss Congeniality 2, The 4400, The Cheetah Girls, Passion of the Christ. John also contributed to Tony Williams' "Wilderness" album, co-producing, orchestrating and arranging; He has performed with Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker and Stanley Clarke.
Born in Durban, South Africa, Kendall showed an interest in the drums at an early age, He pursued this Interest eventually playing and recording with most of the major South African artists, including Steve Kekana, Mike Makelemele, Alan Kwela and Izzio Gross. In 1983, Kendall moved to Texas, and studied at North Texas State University, graduating with a degree in Jazz studies. Kendall arrived in Los Angeles in 1987 and has been playing and recording here ever since.
