Join the Chicago Tribune’s outdoors columnist Barbara Brotman and her guests, Mark Hauser, education manager of Friends of the Chicago River and Geoff Williamson, winner of the American Birding Association's 2013 Ludlow Griscom Award for regional ornithology, on this chartered boat ride up the North Branch of the river to learn what kind of creatures live in and around the river -- and hopefully to see some. Bring binoculars and your curiosity!
Refreshments available on board. Please arrive by 7:50 a.m., the boat will depart at 8:00 a.m.
$30, 8 a.m. departure at 400 N. Rush Street
The boat will launch from 400 North Michigan Avenue, below the Wrigley Building. The northwest corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge.
