Are you a foodie on Twitter and live in the Triangle area? Join hosts The Fearrington House (@fearringtonnc) , Andrea Weigl of the News & Observer (@andreaweigl) and Johanna Kramer (@durhamfoodie) for the Triangle Foodie Tweetup!

This is a great opportunity to meet your favorite food, beer and wine bloggers and fellow triangle area foodies.

Participate in twitter themed contests to win great prizes from your hosts:

  • Twitter Name Drawing: We'll draw two guests' Twitter names and tweet to them what they win -- an overnight stay at The Fearrington House!
  • Hashtag #trifoodietweetup Contest If you tweet about the event using the hashtag #trifoodietweetup before, during and after the event you're eligible to be entered to win one of a half dozen new cookbooks, courtesy of The News & Observer. Winners will be chosen at random. The more you tweet, the better your chances. When: Wednesday, April 6th from 6pm-8pm

Where: The brand new Beer Garden at Roost in Fearrington Village

Why you shouldn't miss it: Fearrington Executive Chef, Colin Bedford, will be doing an oyster roast and also serving his very unique fried chicken with mac n cheese. Enjoy the food, live music by Tommy Edwards and friends, all while meeting your fellow twitter foodies and favorite bloggers from the Triangle area. A cash bar featuring beer from the Carolina Brewery and Fullsteam brewery as well as wines by the glass will be available... and great giveaways!

For directions visit www.fearrington.com or call us at (919) 542-2121.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!

*in case of inclement weather, the event will be held at The Garden Terrace at Fearrington Village.
