Community members are cordially invited to “THREE WEDDINGS AND A RECEPTION’.
This is an interfaith learning event. One couple each from the Protestant, Reform Jewish and Muslim faiths will have a mock wedding, conducted by real clergy. The guests will learn about the rituals, vows, customs, and their meanings.
After the ceremonies, there will be time to visit with people from other faiths and sample foods from different cultures. (This is not a dinner - just some finger foods to share.)
There is no admission fee, but a donation of $5.00 per person, ($10.00 per family), or a platter of VEGETARIAN food to share will help defray expenses. Food should be typical of what might be found at a wedding reception (sweets or appetizers), cut into small pieces.
This will be a festive event; so please dress appropriately.
THIS EVENT IS FILLING UP FAST! Seating is limited. Please register each person in your party.
Please email any questions to email@example.com.
