Routehappy has received press in TechCrunch, GigaOm, Skift, USA Today and Points Guy. The founder and CEO is Robert Albert. More info to come soon..
Robert Albert is an entrepreneurial e-commerce and online media professional in travel, retail and user generated content with a track record starting and growing successful and innovative web products and businesses. He led Site59 and IgoUgo to their highest traffic, revenue and profit levels in the site histories. His newset venture is Routehappy, a social review site for air travel, with the goal to make air travel better for flyers and the industry, focusing on differentiation.
Robert grew up reading flight schedules for fun and never lost his passion for aviation, even after travel became more about business trips than leisure adventures when he took on various jobs in the travel industry. He founded Routehappy with a simple mission that continues to drive the company: to bring happiness back to air travel. And, he's already gained some solid ground with a $1.5 seed round and great buzz, in and outside of the industry.

Travel 2.0 Meetup is a travel startup founders' roundtable to share keys to success and lessons learned in founding travel and mobile startups. Each month, founders from one startup demo and present their product, and we have an in depth discussion about how they got started, how they make product decisions, how they go to market, etc. So far we had founders and CEO's of Jetsetter, Wonderfly, GateGuru, Gidsy, Tracks, Twigmore and more. Our 650 members are mostly startup founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, social media and PR professionals, and travel industry folks. http://www.meetup.com/Travel20/ is where members RSVP for each event. Minimum group size per event is around 30 and we have had 100+!
