Event Details

Have you ever wanted to build your own instrument? Come to the Rebuilding Exchange and learn how to construct one of three instruments from reclaimed lumber. The instruments we are teaching are the Cajon (box like percussion instrument), Wooden or Tubular Zylophone, or a Tone box (a pitched percussion instrument). Come learn assembly and maintenance of musical instruments from local Luthier and Repair Techician Patrick Sundlof.
Note: You can purchase a pre-made kit at the RX warehouse so you can make one in class. Kits are $5.
Patrick Sundlof has been repairing musical instruments for the past 11 years from Banjos to organs; amps to zithers he has years of experience to help you build the instrument of your dreams. Check out his website at or at Facebook
