Funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition will conduct three fair lending test coordinator and investigator trainings across the country, under a Transformational Initiative grant. HUD & NCRC seek to train staff from pre-selected organizations on how to conduct successful fair lending tests and meaningful enforcement actions.
This training is an advanced level course. Over the course of this five-day training, your staff will learn the essentials to building a successful fair lending investigation. This includes: gaining an understanding of the history of fair housing and fair lending, learning the lending process, exploring subprime and predatory lending, how to condcut fair lending testing, how to investigate complaints, how to build fair lending cases, how to engage banks to serve your communities lending needs, etc. The purpose of this training is to fully equip your organization with the skills necessary to design and conduct successful fair lending investigations which will lead to solid cases filed utilizing the Fair Housing Act and other fair lending and consumer protection laws.

February 25-March 1, 2013 in Dallas, TX at the Crowne Plaza Hotel
