Towards Sustainability: Building Community Support for Net Zero Multifamily Affordable Housing
The event is part of an IonE Mini Grant for an interdisciplinary project between the Architecture and Housing Studies programs in the College of Design, in collaboration with the city of Cottage Grove, and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. The purpose of this event is to host an engaged conversation about the design and development of Net Zero Housing for moderate-income home buyers. The event will include the poster presentations of architectural designs, development and financing plans, and design prototypes of sustainable housing prepared by students.
When: Wednesday, 15th May 2013, 8:30 AM to 11 AM (brunch provided)
Where: IonE's seminar room (R-380) and the commons (R-350), Institute on the Environment, Learning & Environmental Sciences, University of Minnesota
Who: Designers, students, scholars, and those interested in sustainable design and affordable housing
