Welcome to Tour40! Get your hands dirty in DC. You’ll work with others who share your desire to promote conservation. Southwest Airlines is commemorating 40 years of service with SCA and you!
We'll be working at Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens removing invasives, planting native species, installing coconut fiber logs and working to re-establish a meadow area at the end of Douglas Street. Everyone will gather at 7:30 AM, with kick off and project assignments at 8:00 AM, and work to begin at 8:15 AM and end around noon.
All volunteers must wear closed shoes (no sandals) and long pants. All tools will be provided. Please bring your favorite pair of gloves (or we can provide gloves for you) and sunscreen. Water and snacks will be provided.
