Ekar's 4th Annual Tour de Farm bike ride
A 16 mile bike ride from Ekar Farm to Delaney Farm and back along the High Line Canal Bike Path. A fun family ride “through the breadbasket of Denver!!”
“This continues to be a fun, family oriented event that offers folks a great opportunity to explore a few urban farms by bicycle while supporting Ekar’s work.” Explains Aaron Ney, Ekar’s Executive Director. “We get a great turnout from our wide community. This year we are expecting over 125 riders!”
Starting at Ekar, the Tour route will stop at Sprout City Farm at Denver Green School for a tour, then on to Delaney Farm for a break and fresh Palisade peaches, and back to Ekar for grilled Colorado Olathe corn, and live Bluegrass music!
This year, the Tour is proud to be expanding the Lil Farmers Tour - a 5 mile ride with snacks and games at the Lil Farmers Turn-Around in the park at 2.5 miles. Providing a fun 2 Farm Tour for even the youngest riders.
$25 per rider, $70 per family
