Led by Artistic Director Joshua Jacobson, one of the world's leading authorities on Jewish choral music, and who founded Zamir in 1969, Zamir has made it its mission to bring the finest examples of Jewish choral music in the most refined performances to a variety of audiences. Zamir’s concerts featuring the great nineteenth century classics of Jewish music from the great synagogues of Berlin, Paris and Vienna have delighted Jewish and non-Jewish music enthusiasts.
