We are excited to announce the 2014 Tom's Profject Hope Golf outing will be held at the beautiful private Media Heights Country Club. This is one of Lancaster County's longest annual golf tournaments! Enjoy a time to get together and enjoy Friends, Contests, Door Prizes, Dinner, and Golf! The outing will be held Saturday, August 2nd 2014. Please help spread the word and invite anyone else that you think would be interested! We will donate all proceeds to Childhood Cancer Research. Cancer doesnt fight fair at any age, but perhaps no cancer is more emotionally devastating than those that occur in children. Today, a child's chance of dying from cancer is 53% less than it was in 1975. The substantial progress in childhood cancer is largely attributable to improvements in treatment and the high proportion of pediatric patients participating in clinical trials. Lets keep fighting this disease and with your help and support we can all make a difference!
When & Where
Hosted by Michael Caterbone & Jim Karpathios
Toms Project Hope was started 19 years ago to honor and celebrate the life of Thomas Caterbone, affectionately known as “Tommy,” who unfortunately passed away at the early age of 31. Tommy, who suffered from depression, took his own life in 1996. Tommy was a kind-spirted and fun-loving son, brother, coach, and friend to many people; he is surely missed.
For the past 19 years, Michael Caterbone and Jim Karpathios have raised money through this golf outing for various charities. We hope to increase our participation and fundraising this year and are hosting this year’s tournament at the beautiful and meticulously-kept private Media Heights Country Club. Please tell your friends to come out for a fun day of golf and dinner and help raise money for an important cause that is near to our hearts. God bless and see you soon.
