Summertime means long days of sunshine, weekends at the shore and an abundance of juicy, ripe tomatoes. While we can't bottle the sun or sand, we can capture all the flavor of those 'maters for later in the year. Want to learn how? Held from 10 am - 2 pm. on Saturday, August 17th, students in this workshop will process and can approximately 150 pounds of tomatoes. Each participant will take home 2-3 quarts of whole peeled tomatoes, along with all the knowledge they need to replicate the same feat in their own kitchens. Cost is $75 per person.
