Workshop: Confidence through Connection

Struggling with feeling small when you want to play tall?

In present times it appears everyone wants to be seen as unique, stand out from the crowd and showcase their USP or Unique Stage Presence, on all manner of platforms. In this workshop I will share a variety of tools and tips that I have gathered as a stage performer and corporate presenter to support you to create connection between where you are and where you want to be.

My experienced as a stage actress taught me how to breathe life into a character and the more attention I poured into the process the more powerful the presence of my character. The more powerful the presence, the more focused I felt, and the more focused I felt the more confident I was in the delivery.

It is no different in the bigger world stage. Focus is powerful, which is why we have to be sassy about where we choose to focus our attention. You may have heard the term 'Every subject is two subjects' - What you want and the lack of it. What determines the outcome or quality of an experience depends largely on what we choose to focus our attention on. We will look at ways to become a powerful focuser and how this can bolster our confidence and conviction in who we are and what we bring to the our very own life stage.

Topics to explore will include:

  • The Receivership Principle
  • Setting the Tone
  • And Pre-Paving for Confidence
