Led Blimpie is a New York City based American band known for its note-for-note live recreations of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog combined with the energy and excitement of playing Zeppelin Live! With a singer that also plays guitar and harmonica and a regular cast of guest performers, the members of this band are much more than mere impersonators.
Led Blimpie truly captures the sound of Zeppelin's cherished recordings to the delight of their ever-growing fan-base. Not posers or impersonators, these die-hard rockers bring their own style and humor to their shows which can last up to four hours!
Straight out of New York City & fronted by Jimy Bleu (who has been carrying on the Hendrix tradition through direct musical lineage), the 3-piece band presents an unbeatable high-energy stage show, augmenting much of Hendrix' material with today's Rock, Funk, Caribbean, Jazz, Worldbeat & Hip-Hop rhythms.
In the words of Bleu....."If you want to know Hendrix's discography, his various guitars, his clothes, his girlfriends, his toothpaste, then you can read the bios, view the docs or talk to those who played with him & were close to him.........but if you really want to understand the deep mysticism of his music & his early stage show, then all roads lead to me~!"
The New Jersey-based Bell Bottom Blues is an dynamic musical act paying tribute to the music of the legendary Eric Clapton. During a typical show, the band performs Clapton's work from such legendary bands as Cream, Blind Faith, Derek & The Dominos, Delaney & Bonnie, and The Beatles. Of course, Clapton's solo work from the '70's to the present day is also well represented.
Bell Bottom Blues's repertoire includes some of Clapton's best-known work, including tracks like "After Midnight," "I Shot the Sheriff," "Cocaine," "Have You Ever Loved a Woman," "Lay Down Sally," "Layla," "Tears in Heaven," "Sunshine of Your Love," "Wonderful Tonight," and of course, "Bell Bottom Blues." Because of the passion and talent each musician brings to the band, they are able to capture the vocal and instrumental genius that is the essence of a Clapton performance. This group's goal is to provide the audience with the ultimate Clapton experience at each and every show.
