Event Details

Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editing tool, commonly used by graphic designers. In this beginning workshop we will familiarize you with the interface and introduce to handy features within the package, as we create a basic logo / label. Exercises may include things like: typing on a path, extrude and bevel, working with text, blending, scaling, adjusting gradients, live trace and experimenting with the new shape builder tool. Illustrator is a must have in your arsenal of software for professional looking results.

The classes are free and they are walk in. Classes are open to the general public on first come first serve basis , but priority is given to those who are registered  and are Georgia Tech affiliated.

These classes are open to everyone : undergrad, grad, faculty and staff

Workshops are usually held in the Homer Rice Center , 2nd floor of the library, near Maps and Special Formats.- behind the elevators. Updates on the class will be sent to the email you provided on your registration form.
