The Student Activities Center (SAC) Art Gallery at Stony Brook University, presents “Times Square Times: 35 Times", photographs of the unique ceramic reliefs, created by sculptor, Toby Buonagurio. The exhibition features thirty - five, high definition photographs of Buonagurio's thirty-five unique, sculptural, ceramic reliefs permanently installed in the Times Square - 42 Street Subway Station, in the heart of New York City. It was commissioned by Metropolitan Transportation Authority Arts for Transit and Urban Design.

A reception will take place: Thursday, February 6:  5 – 8 PM

The artist will provide a talk Wednesday, February 12: 1-2:20pm

Our mission is to promote the appreciation of art and fine crafts for Stony Brook students, faculty, and the community.  

We encourage you to submit proposals and work for various art shows and actively engage with gallery events, music performances, lectures and presentations. The SAC Gallery is a showcase for our talented campus community. Contact the Craft Center if you want to get involved.  By providing leisure opportunities through non-credit classes in an atmosphere of relaxation and fun, the Craft Center is a place to interact with others and to discover or enhance your creative abilities!
