Join the Long Beach Time Exchange for a screening of the new documentary film, Time as Money, on Sunday November 10th at CALB's screening room at 727 Pine Ave in Long Beach.
This 75 minute documentary, by time bankers Lenore Smith and Mark Eklund, visits different time banks in Southern California who are using time banking to create a new economy and build community networks. Time as Money interviewed over 70 time bankers, follows 5 different time banks over 2 and a half years, and was made for $0 federal dollars.
The screening is also a fundraiser for the Long Beach Time Exchange and our campaign to gain non-profit status, so that we can become a stronger hub for the many efforts aligned with our vision and mission.
RSVP through EventBrite is required, as seating is limited.
