FRIDAY, May 30th at 8pm
...a New Orleans boy's football journey
from LSU to the NFL.
New Orleans native, Ed Champagne, member of the
Allstate BCS Sugarbowl Hall of Fame, played football with
legends like Y.A. Tittle, Willy Strode, Steve Van Buren,
Glen Davis, Bob Waterfield, Norm Van Brocklin and so many
more as an All-American at LSU in the 30's and NFL player with
the L.A. Rams in the 40's.
This show tells the story of one family's travels from
Louisiana to California following that football dream. It's
gentle and the story-telling is engaging, so even if you're not
the biggest gridiron fan, this New Orleans football family's
history is delightful.
Chris Champagne stars in this multi-media show about
his family. The videos of his Dad telling football stories are just priceless and an audio of his Mom talking about Chris' birth in Los Angeles is a classic New Orleanian's view on life in the big city.
