"Puppetry Workshop" for rising 3rd -5th Graders
Teacher: Rod Bourke with Toni Bourke
Join us for a three-day workshop that will explore the amazing technical and creative art of puppetry! Incorporating storytelling, design, construction, and play, puppetry is a great way to learn the bigger elements of theatrical production on a smaller scale.
The workshop will be from 1pm to 4pm each afternoon at the Cloverdale Playhouse.
Parents and friends will be invited to watch a final performance at the end of the class session.
Class size is limited. Please register early.
**Students should dress to move and play. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. No loose jewelry. Please call in advance if a student will miss a class or be late.**
Financial Aid is available thanks to the Central Alabama Community Foundation's support of the Playhouse School. No auditions are required- just a strong interest in theater and a need for assistance. If your student could benefit from the Playhouse School Scholarship Fund, please let us know.
