Join NABA on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 6:30pm as Deloitte presents "The What, Why, and How of White Papers" in Room 15124A of their Rosslyn location at 1919 North Lynn Street in Arlington, VA. This session will focus on importance and impact of white papers. White papers are an important business development tool that demonstrates to clients your understanding of their businesses and challenges, while presenting recommended approaches to address their issues. An understanding of white papers will enhance your ability to research upcoming circumstances and properly market your ability to handle those circumstances during face time with the client.
The presentation will be given by Nicole Morris, a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, LLP, who leads teams that support strategic technology transformation initiatives for Offices of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) within the Federal government. As part of her current role, Ms. Morris is managing work that will standardize processes and procedures to better align her client’s technology offerings with the organization’s business goals and the needs of its customers.

Self-parking is available for $5 after in the building’s parking garage, located on the left-hand side of 19th Street. The garage entrance is adjacent to the Le Méridien Arlington Hotel entrance. Once parked take the “Office Elevators,” located towards the southwest corner of the garage, to Level 1.
*****Please note that while the physical address for the Deloitte Rosslyn office is 1919 North Lynn Street, the center’s primary parking garage is located on 19th Street adjacent to the Le Méridien Arlington Hotel entrance. Driving to the physical address of the Deloitte Rosslyn office will lead you directly into D.C. and does not present an immediate opportunity for turning around.*****

Orange/Blue Lines: Take the orange or blue lines to the Rosslyn station, and exit the east side on North Moore Street between 19th Street and Wilson Boulevard. Walk approximately one block north on Fort Myer Drive. Turn right on 19th Street North. Walk approximately one block on 19th Street North and through the intersection. Turn left on North Lynn Street. Walk a short distance and the Waterview Conference Center main entrance will be on the right. Please note that the center itself is located on the 23rd and 24th floors of the Deloitte/Corporate Executive Board building and accessible via the main elevator banks.
