Purpose: To bring together Scholars and Practitioners to provide an assessment of the US Asia Rebalance one year (+) after the release of the US Defense Strategic Guidance.  Provide an opportunity for policy makers and strategists to hear critical assessments from practitioners and regional experts.

 

Desired Outcome: A critical look at the US Asian Rebalance from a US and an Asia-Pacific perspective.  Provide insights on what has transpired in the last year and what the future holds for the policy and strategy to policy makers and watchers.  

 

Note: Conference remarks will be on the record and recorded, and a conference report will be published.
