When & Where
The Urban Leadership Lab
The Urban Leadership Lab is a division of eMerging Entrepreneurs, Inc.; a NC-based non-profit organization that provides career and entrepreneurial training to veterans, military spouses, and under-served minority communities. Our leadership project is a “social incubator;” aligning our community’s youth with access to the kinds of networking opportunities, jobs & entrepreneurship training, social development programs, and positive intellectual reinforcement that will best equip them with the tools to successfully development their career interests! Our program seeks to amass the intellectual support of local organizers, community & faith leaders, industry executives, university personnel, and policy advocates in an effort to introduce programs that will spearhead new ways of engaging our community’s under-served youth. Our training program addresses Workforce, Educational, Entrepreneurial, Social, and Leadership areas; offering a number of vocational & community-based resources designed to provide our young men with the tools to take their long-term aspirations to the next level! We’ve also coordinated efforts with the , to extend learning labs, merit badge programs, and entrepreneurial training through the "EXPLORING" career development initiative, as part of a shared effort to help our young people fully envision themselves in positions of leadership.
