Thank you for your interest in the 11th Annual Day of Service and Reflection (DOSAR). The event takes place on Saturday, May 18, 2013 and begins at the Friends Center located at 800 East 55th Street.
Continental breakfast and registration begins at 7:30 a.m. You will be bussed to your worksite at 9:00 a.m. and will work on your project until noon or shortly after. You will then be returned to the Friend Center for a 1:00 p.m. lunch and reflection on the day's activity. The day will end at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Attire for the day is work clothes. While working, plan on getting dirty. Please wear loose fitting or comfortable clothing and flat comfortable shoes, a hat and sunglasses may also be needed. PLEASE do NOT dress yourself or your children in clothing that you would not want to get dirty. Wear clothing that is appropriate to paint or garden in.
Remember to pre-register ALL of your guest(s). Children must be at least six years of age to volunteer.
