Event Details

On behalf of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, we invite you to the Annual Prostate Cancer Research Retreat at Genentech Hall on September 9, 2013. This year's retreat will highlight the 3 D's: Discovery, Development, and Delivery.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 AM in the Genentech Hall Atrium, followed by opening remarks by Dr. Peter Carroll at 8 AM. The morning will feature the Discovery session moderated by Dr. Davide Ruggero with the Development session moderated by Dr. Charles Ryan. Lunch will be provided, during which guests are encouraged to view the poster session. After this, we will feature our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Frank McCormick, followed by Dr. Matthew Cooperberg who will moderate the Delivery session. We will conclude with the announcement of the poster prize winners and closing remarks by Drs. Peter Carroll and Eric Small.

Taking US-101 N toward San Francisco:

Taking I-280 N toward San Francisco:

  • Exit 56 for Mariposa St toward 18th St.
  • Turn left onto Mariposa St.
  • Take the 2nd right onto Mississippi St.
  • Take the 2nd right onto 16th St.
  • Campus starts after train tracks, at Owens St.



From the East Bay

  • Take the I-80 W/I-580 E ramp to San Francisco
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-580 E/I-80 W
  • Slight right onto I-80 W (signs for San Francisco)
  • Take exit 1C toward Ninth St./Civic Center
  • Turn left onto 8th St.
  • Slight left to stay on 8th St.
  • Take the 2nd left onto Brannan St.
  • Take the 1st right onto 7th St.
