Event Details

Brandman University's Chancellor Gary Brahm welcomes Orange County Register President and co-owner Eric Spitz to discuss the future of newspapers and what that future holds for Orange County.

Eric Spitz has a plan and vision for serving Orange County that defies conventional wisdom. Since purchasing the Register in July 2012, Spitz and his business partner, Aaron Kushner, have energized every aspect of its news coverage, including adding a daily business section and new feature sections, adding nearly 100 people to the newsroom, launching programs that help Orange County's 80,000+ small businesses grow, and investing $12.4M to help promote local non-profits.

Learn what these developments mean to you, and how they are fueling optimism and a common sense of community that Orange County has not seen in years. The Chancellor's Breakfast is a series of public forums that discuss key issues. These in-person meetings are designed to encourage collaboration among industry experts and thought leaders. Attendees will gain valuable perspectives, identify new trends, and consider the latest ideas shaping global business.
