The ΦΘΚ Summit
Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
NE District VP, Jeff Nakata, and NW District VP, Deanna Badong, are teaming up to bring you the Nevada/California Region's Northern Districts’ Summit, hosted by ΑΣΑ of De Anza College, home of our Regional Coordinator, Charlie Klein, around the corner from Apple's HQ, from noon until about 5 p.m. on Saturday, 3.8.14 in De Anza’s S-16. This event is brought to you by our northern districts, but all Phi Theta Kappans are welcome, regardless of the district in which you and your chapter reside.
The Northern Districts’ Summit will feature sessions led by your regional officers that will help you grow and succeed in ΦΘΚ and beyond, and it'll provide you an opportunity for invaluable networking with your Regional Board and other fellow Phi Theta Kappans. It will also count toward your chapter's 5 Star Chapter Development goal, meeting the same requirement for the Four Star Level as any regional conference or convention. Your lunch will be paid for you and will be provided by Maggiano's Little Italy, a local top-notch, award-winning restaurant; parking is free; and there are no fees to attend.
We look forward to seeing you there!
When do I have to register by?
5 p.m. on Friday, 3.7.14
How will I know where to go on campus?
The S-16 room is located in the S1 building on the map (purple building toward the middle of the map), which you can reference here: https://www.deanza.edu/map/
What are our parking options?
You'll receive an e-parking permit via e-mail for you to print before your journey to Cupertino that will allow you to park in student or even staff parking spaces; just don’t park in a disabled parking space, unless you have a permit to do so.
Could attending the NE District Summit help my chapter become a Five Star chapter?
Yes! Your chapter's attendance will count toward the Four Star Level.
