Event Details

Halloween weekend can't get here fast enough! Keeping with the ingenuity of the Prohibition era, The Gala will be an innovative Halloween prohibition-era costume event that will transform Opera Atlanta Event Center into a giant sultry, 1920's speakeasy over the course of two sessions. We welcome feathers & fedoras, pinstripes & pearls and all era inspired attire to insure a costumed fun traditional walk down a 1920's memory.

Just like a perfect martini, the Gala brings together the perfect blend of three essential speakeasy ingredients - part booze, part gambling, part entertainment with a garnish of prohibition-era attire. The Gala carries on the tradition of the 1920's speakeasies in true fashion by showcasing all the fun the Volstead Act tried to suppress in an exciting and heterogeneous collection of elements - costume contests, licit charity gambling, vintage music, fine cigars and exploration into the world of cocktails in one of the most coolest, sultriest atmospheres imaginable.

The Gala will be set apart into two identical amazing session!

October 26th • The Blind Pig • 1:30pm - 4:30pm

October 26th • The Blind Tiger • 5:00pm - 8:00pm

All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times subject to change without notice. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No one under 21 will be admitted.

Organizer

The Speakeasy Cocktail Festival

We are a committed bunch who celebrate the cocktail culture and excellence of our great city. Our goal is to generate local anticipation by creating an atmosphere that will help anyone meet their own inner epicure. Through our efforts, we hope to promote the talent, lifestyle and culture that will reinforce Atlanta as the preeminent cocktail capital of the south. The Festival we are shaping is based on an original mission of hosting and managing the coordination of events that compliment the world of cocktails under the 'umbrella' of one huge movement. Our movement is dedicated to reverencing an era and the advancement of the artistry and lifestyle that surrounds cocktail culture through education, creative programming and event experiences.

Each year we want to be the catalyst that unites the industry to share the distinct common passion and expertise that is harnessed in Atlanta's unique cocktail landscape. All of our efforts are benefiting The Health Education & Communication Center of Atlanta (HECCA) which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for which the primary focus, through outreach programs and events, is to inform, educate and empower our community and to advocate the programs and events that enable our community to be more actively involved in its own health and combat our state's biggest battle against the growing childhood obesity epidemic.
