Come and join Teenage Food Blogger and Now Author Joshua Weissman who wrote and photographed The Slim Palate Paleo Cookbook for a book signing & meet and greet at Corner Table in Houston!

Teenage foodie Joshua Weissman lost over 100 pounds just by turning from trendy diets to real food. Now he shares how he developed a sensible, yet still indulgent, philosphy of eating for health and hapiness, along with some of his favorite recipes. In the Slim Palate Paleo Cookbook you will find all of Joshua's writing, photography, and recipes to tantilize your tastebuds and reconnect you with your food.

Books will be for sale by River Oaks Bookstore at the book signing. You may bring your books to be signed if you already have purchased one but I urge you to still support a local bookseller by purchasing one (or more!), to maybe give to a family member or friend. If you do purchase a book you will automatically be entered in a giveaway and recieve a bonus gift (only while supplies last). *You can also join the Facebook event here to get any specific updates that might be announced.*

In addition to all the fun there will also be a special Paleo menu with dishes inspired by The Slim palate Paleo cookbook available for purchase.

Teenager Joshua Weissman is an accomplished real-food advocate and food blogger who writes and photographs for the increasingly popular blog Slim Palate (slimpalate.com). Joshua fought a weight problem when he was young.  Starting at 15, Joshua did extensive research and found a way to use whole, natural foods to create elegant, palate-pleasing recipes that helped him lose weight without sacrificing flavor. He lost more than 100 pounds and is now fit and happy. His affinity for food and cooking compels him to share his kitchen tips and tempting, nourishing recipes with the world. Joshua focuses on the use of whole foods and grass-fed/pastured meats in his cooking and makes note of the empowering benefits of buying locally.
