The Science of Happiness: How to Flourish in 2014
According to the Harvard Business Review, happiness bolsters your performance and engagement on the job:
Happy workers experience:
• 31% more productivity
• 3X more creativity
• 37% higher sales
• 40% greater likelihood of promotion
If you feel like there's got to be more...there actually is! If there's been too much stress and not enough play, this is for you. In this interactive workshop you'll learn how to:
-Control your negative emotions
-Cultivate feelings of flow and ALIVEness
-Shift loneliness into nurturing connection
-Transform struggle and suffering into meaning
-Hack your goals and achieve your dreams
Your happiness in your control...not all of it, but enough! Researchers found that 10% of your happiness is based on circumstances which are out of your hands...such as who your parents are and the fact that your cat is getting old. Another 50% is up to genetics...which influences how your personality is expressed. The rest, my friends, 40%, is based on what YOU DO!
Come figure out what that 40% is all about. Flourishing doesn't just happen by accident - it happens by design.
This workshop is taught by Positive Psychology Expert, Stella Grizont. Stella is the founder of WOOPAAH, a happiness company that teaches individuals and organizations how to thrive and play.
