The Red Stripe Midsummer Music & Food Festival
Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM (EDT)
Atlanta is a city that loves to get outside with good friends, good music/food, and have good times!
On June 18th, Candler Park will once again be transformed into the hottest festival of the year with The Red Stripe MidSummer Music Fest. From filling the park 3 years ago with 10,000 people with Drivin n Cryin and Blues Traveler, to great music 2 years ago featuring Rusted Root and Guster, last years event with The Wailers and Better Than Ezra, this years event is taking it to a whole new level!
Come out and celebrate the longest day of the calendar year with a free event, benefiting the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization, featuring live music all day long, over 30 hand selected food vendors/restaurants competing for best burger/BBQ/Taco/Dessert/Street Food Vendor, a 790 The Zone 5K (benefiting Mary Lynn Elementary School), and the largest collection of drinking activities with the Hang Out Sports Area.
