Event Details

Dramatic play, building with blocks, learning from trial and error -- classroom or boardroom? Graduate school or lower school lab? Businesses today thrive on people who are creative on their feet, know how to problem-solve and want to collaborate. These are the people who create the next successes.

How does a century-old pedagogical movement such as progressive education produce the kinds of entrepreneurs, designers and pioneering doctors that we need tomorrow?

The first of a series of conversations, this symposium focuses on the efficacy of experiential, hands-on learning developed 100 years ago at the fabled City and Country School in Manhattan. Known for its trailblazing work, C&C is the leader in progressive education for children ages 2-13.
